We started a tradition today that we will do every Mother's Day.
After our outing at the park we went and got 2 red balloons. One is for Kanah's birth mother. We hope and pray that she knows in her heart that her child is safe, happy and loved more than she could have ever hoped for.
The other is for her foster mother in China that she was with for 6 months before we got her. We also hope she knows Kanah is being taking care of and thank her for the care that she gave her during her first several months of life.
We put the ballooons in Kanah's hand's and let her release them to "go to China"
