Our First Christmas

This has been such an exciting and fun holiday season. I love Christmas soo much...all the decorations.... the lights...the baking....spending time with family and friends....and especially the traditions! This year we finally are getting to start some of our own and oh what fun!

NaiNai and Grandan came to share in all the craziness with us and it was great. On Christmas eve I brined my first turkey and everyone said it was the best turkey they ever had. I do have to say it was pretty darn good. In fact it was so good Kanah could not get enough, I must have put 4 or 5 servings on her plate. Then when we were just sitting around the table talking she got down and went over to Grandan and climbed up in his lap for More! That little belly was so tight I thought she was going to pop.

After dinner we decided to open up our gifts as a family. We were not real sure how Kanah would react to all of this, but oh boy did she have a great time tearing into all those gifts. She really got into ripping off that paper and finding out what was inside. That is until she opened her magna doodle then she wanted nothing to do with any other presents. Thank you for all my gifts Nai Nai and Gran Dan.

Little did she know what the morning would bring to her from SANTA...........

The Kitchen and the red wagon were huge hits! Thank you Santa!

She loved that kitchen sooooo much it was the cutest thing. One of the first things she did was to put all of her pots in the microwave and proceed to close the door and push the buttons.(She does not pay attention to what we are doing at all....huh)

She also started opening the door on the right which is the fridge and backing up and sitting inside. She would look at us say byyyyyyy and then close the door as she sat inside. It is the cutest thing ever!

We decided to go out for a quick ride in the wagon and she loved it....she just laughed and laughed.

Here are a couple of picture of her in the wagon in her Christmas outfit.

More pictures will come when we get the CD from Grandan as he took all the pictures for us for Christmas....we have our very own family photgrapher..hehehe...therefore we did not take too many..ooops.

Christmas evening we took Nai Nai and Grandan to the airport and then Manna and Gran Kanie came over to have Christmas with us.

Kanah gave Manna and Nai Nai a photo keepsake book with lots and lots of pictures from the past year.

Kanah wanted a ride in her wagon indoors so Gran Kanie pushed her back and forth for a long while. YEAH ! Thanks Gran Kanie....

Manna help me get Ivy Ling out of this box Please......

Look Gran Kanie it's Ivy Ling!

Oh thank you so much for the books Gran Kanie and Manna you know how much I love to read!
