There is not one day that goes by that I don't get all full of emotion just watching you. You are so very loving and sweet. The way you put your sweet hands on my cheeks and say mamaaaaaaa and give me hugs with all your might.Kanah you are truly the joy of my life. I just cannot believe how fast you are growing up, every day it is something new. Just yesterday you started saying your name Kanah not Nanah. The cute baby way of saying your name is fast leaving us, just as most of the cute baby things are. You are growing into such a big girl and as I am so proud of how very smart you are it makes me sad. I am not quite ready to loose my baby yet, but we are having so much fun discovering all the new things for you and forgotten things for me.
These are a few of the fun things we have been doing lately.
*Here you are holding your first frog and oh how excited you were!
* Going on nature walks, finding different colored leaves(or as you say to every leaf " fallen leaf
Mama", rocks, pine cones(piiine tone), bugs or what ever else we may discover along our way.
You really make me take the time to look and enjoy everything outdoors.
*The hokey poky wow this is a whole lot of fun especially when Dada joins in with us! Of course
you are so very cute doing all the movements and you are getting really good with knowing
right from left.
*I love it when you sing Twinkle Twinkle little star. You have the sweetest voice and the look
on your face is so precious.
*Sitting in the front yard everyday when we come home from school waiting for your Dada to
come home and join us for lunch. When we pull into the drive way you always say "wait for
Dada". That is exactly what we do, we put our stuff inside and then rush back out to wait for
Dada and play in the front yard. You always take off running over to the split rail fence and
climb up. Then you turn around and say "Moan Mama" (come on Mama), I see sompin. What
do you see? You look up and say a treeeeeeee and point to the big maple. Then you will say
Dada come dat way and point down the road. If a different car comes you will say "dat not
Dada's tuck eider". Once you see him coming down the road we always have to run back to the
front porch and sit down, you get so excited. We have to wait till he pulls in the driveway and
then once his truck is stopped you take off running and yelling Daaadaaa Daaadaaaaaaaaa.
You have your arms up in the air and he knows what you want "To Drive his truck" and of
course he picks you up and the two of you drive up and down the driveway. I love to watch this
you two love each other so very much and I am so honored to get to watch these very special
moments between the two of you.
*I love the way when you say good bye to me at school now you say Bye Bye Mama ....Bye Bye
Nanah's Mama. You also say it when you tell me good night.
*You are counting so very good all the way to 10 when you want to. What is so funny is how all
of a sudden you now say 1,8, 9,10. You can also count to five in Spanish thanks to Dora and
Diego.
*You love to "play letters" as you call it, which means you want to either play with your
actual letters or you want to point out letters to us on a picture and tell us what they are.
You know all of your letters.Mama", rocks, pine cones(piiine tone), bugs or what ever else we may discover along our way.

*You have all of a sudden gotten attached to just one snuggly or mmmmm as you call them
the blue mmm is your very favorite and you have picked out special ones for us too. What
I think is very interesting is that after all the mmmm's you have had and carried around the
one you have attached to and the one you have chosen for me are the only two I took to China.
You have also gotten attached to a very cute frog Aunt Sandra and Aunt Veronika gave you
for your 2ND Birthday.
*I love when we get ready to go somewhere and I tell you to get your stuff together. I never
know what you are going to come around the corner with either in your hand, your purseor on your body. You definitely have your own style and I love it!
