Kindergarden

Well you have started Kindergarten, I cannot believe we are here already my how the time has flown by. Kanah you are growing up way too fast for me and your daddy.

The first few months were hard for both of us. The first day when I dropped you off in the car pool line just so daddy could get a picture. I was watching you walk in and a lady looked at me and said it's ok you can go on now we will take care of her now. I just busted out crying, I was not ready for someone else to take car of you.

You were not ready either you missed your mommy something awful and would cry a lot. When we would pick you up you would tell me mommy I only cried once today. It is now December and you don't cry much any more at all. We do have our morning routine to make sure you have a happy day. I put a note in your lunch every day to give you a little love and remind you I will see you soon. You have even been so sweet as to put notes in my lunch box some days too. You are very thoughtful like that.

We also give each other kissing hands every morning just like the book. Then Daddy came up with doing a secret pocket as an extra kissing hand. So what we do is I kiss one hand and then put it to your cheek then kiss the other hand and put it to your cheek, then kiss the other hand again with a whole lot of kisses and you put it in your secret pocket just in case you need extra loving. You then do the same thing to me for my day. We make it really silly when we do the secret pocket, sometimes you like it when I try to copy what your saying while you say it. Then we always make the T really pronounced pocketttttttt.
