Love is thicker than blood!

Ok this is going to be a long post. The words below is the second song Mike wrote for Kanah. Hopefully we can get him to record both of them and get them on here so you can hear it put to music, they are both really beautiful. This will be so special for Kanah to have in the future, can you imagine these are the songs my daddy wrote for me!

We had a photo session while he sang the song to her so here are a lot of great pictures.

Love Is Thicker Than Blood......

Sometimes you dream a dream
Sometimes those dreams come true
Other times they change along the way
And lead you to someplace new

I've been many miles down a road
Painted different shades of blue
But waiting at the end of that road
Was a little picture of you

The first time I held you in my arms
The feeling came on like a flood
Blood may be thicker than water
But love is thicker than blood

Waiting for you seemed like a lifetime
Sometimes more than I could take
Now you're here and I feel like I'm dreaming
If I am, then I pray that I don't wake

You may not be blood of my blood
Nor skin of my skin
I wasn't there when your life began
But I'll be here until mine ends

The first time I held you in my arms
The feeling came on like a flood
Blood may be thicker than water
But love is thicker than blood

Little girl you may never know
The happiness you have brought from afar
And all the love that you spread
Just by being who you are

The first time I held you in my arms
The feeling came on like a flood
Blood may be thicker than water
But love is thicker than blood

Love is thicker than blood

Kanah loves it when her Dada plays guitar for her she just sings and dances it is the cutest thing in the world. She has loved it from the first week she was home. Mike brought his guitar down and played the lullaby he wrote for her and few other songs and she just danced and smiled.

Then one day when Mike was playing to her he finished the song he was playing and she just started clapping for him all on her own. What an incredibly smart girl we have here.

I want to play too!!!!

Daddy is singing my song to me and I am dancing.

This is how Kanah gives us kisses. Is it not the cutest thing ever?

Thank you for my song Dada I love you very much!
