6 Months !

Wow I can hardly believe it has been 6 months since Kanah was placed in my arms!Time sure has just flown by and our beautiful girl is the best thing that has ever happened to us! These past 6 months have been the most amazing months in my life and I know it is only going to get better from here. She is so amazingly wonderful,sweet, smart and funny. It amazes me just exactly how much she understands and is trying so hard to communicate with us. This is such a fun interesting age.

We were on vacation at the beach and on our 6 month day we were on the beach just playing and relaxing and there was a beautiful rainbow. It was a perfect day! Mike got a few pictures of me and Kanah to record the day. I posted his favorite pic with this post.

Just a few things for the baby blog.

*Kanah is very loving and sweet she loves to give kisses big open mouth ones

and ones where her lips are so puckered she looks like a fish. She will just

come up and hug you or pat on you it is the sweetest thing, just melts your

heart. One of our favorite things is always during dinner she will start

holding her hand out to me and gibbering and I will lean over and she puts

her little arm around my neck and then motions for Dada. We all lean in and

put our heads together while she has her little arms around our necks and

is patting us and we just kiss and love. We call this family love and yes we

caught it on video.

* Kanah took her first steps on her own on July 30th. Now she is trying to run I

call her the Tasmanian devil. She just runs from one side of the room to the

other no or down the drive way. We had our first skinned knees today...she
is our tom boy for sure.

* Top 2 molars came through on Aug 27th.Sept, 3rd bottom right molar and2 eye
teeth are coming through. As of today she has 13 teeth we are getting them all
at once. I am ready to get this over with...whew

*Words she says
Dada....she calls me Dada when I look at her and say mama she
gives me this devilish grin and then says Dada..hahaha

Dog---dooh (she pants like a dog and barks at them too, sometimes cats and birds get
barked at too.)

See ya later----she got this from the back yardigans--most of the time it is just laaater.

*She loves to read and I mean loves it! Her favorite book is I am thankful each day,
we have it memorized..hehe She also loves the touch and feel books.

*Loves any and all kinds of music she just bobs her head and sways back and forth.
Oh and we cannot forget the shoulder shimmy which is the cutest thing ever! She
has also started kind of twirling around.

*Kanah loved the pool this summer she was even kicking her legs and jumping in like the
big kids. She would also go all the way under the water.

*She loves itsy bitsy spider and is trying to sing it and she likes patty cake too. She is
starting to play peek a boo by covering her eyes and she also likes to cover your eyes
for you.

*She loves to go outside and explore. Every time she hears a bird or a plane she looks up
and points to the sky and just talks like she is telling me what it is.


Sorry for how things are placed everytime I hit save and then go to view it, things have moved around and changed. So I am leaving it for now.
