Preschool......

So today our baby started preschool, I cannot believe it! It just does not seem possible that my tiny little baby can already be going to preschool. How time has flown, she has not been home with us for one year yet.

We both think it is time she needs to be around kids her age and learn the social skills school will give her. She also needs to know that mommy will come back.
I think we both surpised ourselves at how good we did. I did not cry, neither did Mike....oh yeah and neither did Kanah. She did really good! We went 2 times the week before to feel it out and she seemed to like it and we did too. She is going to a Church within walking distance from the house two days a week for 3 hours a day.

I have to mention this, on Sunday I was not feeling well so Dada took Kanah out for a day of shopping without Mama. He came back and was just so adorable telling me he had bought her first day of school outfit.....I think he did a fine job......such a great Dada.....

Every school girl needs her snuggly along with her for the ride to school.

Mrs. Jennifer is her teacher's name and there are 5 other kids in her class. Three of them live in our neighborhood within walking distance....yeah new friends!!!...SO, there are 6 kids total and 2 teachers , I love that ratio. They said she did really good for the hour and then realized we were not there. They calmed her down and she was fine.

Wow!.. my baby is not so much of a baby anymore is she????? I am not sure I am ready for this but I sure did get a whole lot done in those 3 hours.
