Well we made it and we survived the loooong flight.
We were so worn out last night when we got to our hotel we decided not to go anywhere. We tried to eat at one of the restaurants in the hotel but could not make a decision and decided to just order room service and then go to bed. I see Mike has had a good time keeping you updated. You're doing a great job honey!
We went on a tour today with 2 other groups from our agency. We first went to Victory Peak which is the highest point in Hong Kong. Actually the picture of Hong Kong in Mike's post is what you see from Victory Peak. We did not get to see that gorgeous view as it was very foggy. We did get to see a lot of beautiful and different things on the way up. One of them is the last traditional Chinese house left in Hong Kong which is what mom and I are standing in front of in the picture above.
We also went to the Aberdeen Fisherman village and took a boat ride around the village to see the house boats the families live on. It was very interesting to see how they live and work on the water.
We have met most of the families in our group the others will join us tom. in Chongqing. We had a traditional Dim Sum lunch today which was very good, some things were a little different but I tried it all.(Yes Mike I ate Pork)
Tonight we are going to go watch the laser light show at the harbour,we may take a boat ride to watch. Our guides say it's wonderful. Speaking of our guides they are taking such good care of us!
This is our last night in Hong Kong, one more full day and we get our girl. I can hardly stand it. So the next time I post most likely will be "gotcha day" since we will be traveling most of the day tom.
Love you
Jenn
