KANAH B IS IN MAMA'S ARMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was lucky enough to hear the whole thing over the phone...Jenn called as they were standing there waiting for them to bring the babies into the room. We were on the phone for several minutes when I heard Jenn say "here they come"
I got to hear the whole thing!!!! Unbeleivable!!!! The best feeling I have ever had in my life...pure magic!!!!
She said Kanah was just looking at her. She wasn't crying, just staring at her...
She actually reached out for the phone and the locket that Jenn has around her neck that holds a picture of me and one of Kanah's referral photos...already a Daddy's girl!!
She had to go after about 5-10 minutes so she could feed her...
I'm a Daddy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...................Anthony was here taking pics of me on the phone...I had it on speaker phone and he even had a few tears rolling down his face and said..."I feel like I just had a kid"
...and somehow I'm supposed to go to sleep tonight?!!
Hopefully in the morning by the time we all start to wake and start our day they will have figured out the internet problem and we'll have some pics of the new Mama and Kanah!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow! Reading Mike's post from last night made me cry! And I couldn't sleep b/c I was so anxious to hear about Jenn getting Kanah. I was up at 12:24, 2:something, and wide awake at 6:15 this morning. My heart is so full for you both. Jenn, my own two children were handed to me and I remember that feeling of pure joy. I tear up envisioning you seeing that little babe coming toward you and then FINALLY holding her. It gives me chills.
I can't wait to tell Lydia you got your baby. God bless, be safe, and have a wonderful time with Kanah! Mike, hang in there as best you can until they get back. We'll be praying for you as you wait!

Mike, did you hear us yelling all the way from Statesville this morning??? We logged on before heading off to school...I had a hard time going to sleep last night cause I knew what was about to happen all the way on the other side of this great big ol' world!
Evie and Katie were doing the happy dance and singing "We have a new cousin, we have a new cousin!" I'm sure everyone at Central Elementary will hear about the big news today!
We are all SO HAPPY for y'all!!!! Hurry home to us, Miss Kanah!!!! You've got some cousins who are about to burst wide open with excitement...and an Aunt and Uncle who want to steal a few hugs and kisses too!!
