She just called me from the plane in Chicago as they were being pushed back from the gate. They'll be on that bird for the next 16 hours. It's now about 11:30am Thursday morning. They'll get to Hong Kong sometime around 6am tomorrow morning. (our time) Hong Kong and mainland China are 12 hours ahead of us, so it will be 6pm Friday when they get there.
They're on a Boeing 747-400 (see pic) which is a HUGE bird, so they'll be able to get up and walk around a bit. She also said that they have the whole row to themselves and the plane is not that full, so that's good. It will make that long flight a little more tolerable.

Looking at that plane and reading your words, Mike, my eyes fill with tears as I just slowly shake my head and say, "I can't believe this is real...it's finally happening!"
