Just got off the phone with Jenn. They're now in Guangzhou at the White Swan Hotel. She said that Kanah was great on the plane. Tomorrow is the "red couch picture" so they're going to get up and go shopping in the morning to get her new clothes for that. She will also have her visa picture taken tomorrow.

I know I sent the email from Susan to you so you've seen this, but I just had to share with everyone! Enjoy a good chuckle over these. A friend of mine has a relative who adopted two little girls from China. She said that people can say some of the craziest things. Here are two examples...
"We got so tickled when they brought the first one home and a lady asked if they were going to tell her she was adopted? DUH??? They are "good ole" folks from the country with a daughter from China. Do you think she might be able to figure it out?? Another lady said, "Oh, she can teach you how to cook Chinese!" Go figure!"
I think that old saying 'think before you speak' applies!! But it does make for some great comic relief during your agonizing wait, huh Mike??

I can't wait for Kanah's second plane ride, that's for sure. That's when she'll finally be heading home!!!!!!
