(Jenn) Suprise!

Hey Everyone,

I can finally see the blog and everything my wonderful husband has done. I am going to leave it up to him right, he is doing such a wonderful job. I don't' want o jinx being able to see everything so I am not posting any pictures he has them. I was heading to bed and started reading everything and all the comments. I want to go back through each day and respond to all of you. I have sat here and laughed and cried and just thoroughly enjoyed reading all the posts and comments.

Oh I have so much to tell you guys but it will have to wait till we get home and settled. I am so in love with this child she is perfect, and such a ham oh you just wait. Just a quick story she looked at me today and put her four teeth together and just smiled the biggest smile and started laughing and giggling. She is such a good baby......We are so blessed!!!!

I am so glad I can finally read the posts and comments, PLEASE keep them coming things from home are great right now. Chongqing is not very westernized so it is a little frustrating to put it nicely. Not much here we can eat, even our reps. have not taken us out for authentic food. Hotel room service and restaurants, Mcdonalds, and Kentucky. that's about it.....
Babe clean that grill off because I am going to be in need of some good, HEALTHY food when I get home. Can we say vegetables Pleeeaaassse. I had some Broccoli tonight first veggies in days! AUGH.....

I love you all very much...Cannot wait to get home

Daddy mark one more day off that calendar.....Not too much longer

Hi!! You don't know me but I work with Mike's great aunt (I think) Barbara Pollard! She knows that we are also adopting from China and are logged in 5/30/06. We became friends when her husband was dying and I had a very very close friend dying at the same time.

Anyway - Kanah is a beauty!!! Thank you guys for sharing. One of the things that help me get through this horrible wait is watching other great people meeting their daughters! And Mike sharing his thoughts too - tears were rolling down my face.

Again - thank you!

Jenn!!!

There you are! Hurry up and come home with that baby! Let me know if you have special requests for home cooking to be waiting in the fridge when you get home. Your wish is my command.

The pictures are precious. I've never seen you look happier.

Love, Cathy B.

Hey Mike and Jenn!
We are so happy for you all! It is so exciting watching these pictures roll in. We have been tuning in every chance we get! I just want to hug that little adorable doll and I'll probably come to work with Ken sometime and do just that if you will let me. Hope to see you soon.
God Bless you!

Hey Jenn!
I'll leave the cooking to Cathy B, she's the queen of home cooked meals. But if you think of other ways I can help out, please let me know. I'm an excellent errand-runner!
These pictures are so wonderful, your happinees is un-deniable, you can see it in your eyes. You were definately meant to be together.
See you soon.

Jenn,
It is so GOOD to hear from you, although Mike HAS done a terrific job of keeping us informed.
I'm at Granny Alma's...on the way here, I think I was having withdrawal, wondering what was new on the blog while I was out of touch for a whole hour. :)
I got here, logged on.....and here YOU ARE!!! :)
Sweetheart, our bodies are in NC, but our hearts are there with you all.

And just like Cathy B, if there's anything I can make for you to eat when you get home, just say the word!!!!!

Please give our girl many, many hugs and kisses from Manna!!!

Love you,
"Mom"

Carla,
Yes, Barbara is Mike's great-aunt.....my mom's sister. I'm Mike's mom.
I know the waiting is tough, but it will be worth it all in the end.
Mike and Jennifer have had a long, and difficult journey to this wonderful time....and your time will come too. You hang in there, and remember that each day brings you one day closer.
God bless you!

Hey Jennifer!!

It's so good to hear from you! I'm so happy for you all and have enjoyed "meeting" your family through this blog.

Well, you know I can't cook to save my life, BUT I CAN BABYSIT that little cutie-pie!! Of course, you probably won't want to be away from her for more than a second, but maybe when she's 7 or 8...HA!

I've emailed the blog to our work friends...hope they are enjoying it as much as I am.
